Laguna Beach Wedding at Surf and Sand Hotel

Brian and Rukiya had their wedding at the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach. This is such a great venue, right on the beach with a couple terrace views to hold your ceremony and several ballrooms to host your reception. We just love it! This couple did a gorgeous tropical beach themed wedding for their decor. Brandi, at The Finishing Touch Wedding Design created such a tropical paradise with all of the flowers and decor for this wedding. It was such a beautiful day for an awesome couple.

Intimate Moss Beach Wedding in Laguna Beach | Donald+Cassiti

Donald and Cassiti said their wedding vows at Moss Beach. This strand of beach in Laguna makes for an intimate and private spot to exchange your wedding vows. The couple celebrated with their reception that followed at a private Newport Beach vacation home. We loved working with Donald and Cassiti on this romantic and special day with them.

Surf and Sand Laguna Beach Wedding | Scott+Heather

I first met Heather, about 6 years ago when we both worked at an interior design firm together. Yes, there was a brief time after working in photo studios for about 10 years that I worked outside the photo field. Crazy, huh? Shortly after being out of photo I realized I missed shooting immensely and we started our own company of Sipper Photography. If it wasn’t for the photography bug that I caught during my senior year in high school, I probably would of been an interior designer. I love color, fabrics and design! The two actually have gone hand in hand for me over the years when Jeff and I worked for a company that did set photography for Home Depot.

Heather and I connected again this past year and I was excited to hear that she was engaged to such a wonderful man! I admit, that I teared up when Scott mentioned how he loved looking into Heather’s beautiful blue eyes during his vows. By now you all should know that I am a total sucker for weddings + love!!!

I am in love with the Surf and Sand Hotel in Laguna Beach! What a fabulous spot for an oceanfront wedding ceremony. It is a beautiful property with so many photo ops… it’s a photographer’s dream! I guess it was pretty dreamy for Scott and Heather too as they took their vows on the Ocean Terrace overlooking the beach. I was in awe the whole day to work with this fantastic couple on these grounds. They are so much in love as you will see in all of the great moments we have to share.

You will love all of the details of this wedding coming from a designer. Wait until you see the succulent floral theme… absolutely stunning! Congratulations to Scott+Heather… to a wonderful life together. Looking forward to drinks again soon at Splashes.

It is on days like this one that we love what we do! It was a gorgeous day for a Laguna Beach Wedding as Chris and Saiko said their I-do’s in front of their family and friends at Laguna Village. The two are a great couple to work with and they chose such a fabulous wedding location at Laguna Village to have their oceanfront wedding. This was a fun moment as Chris twirled his bride around to the audience as they were announced husband and wife!

Just after the ceremony we took the bride and groom with their wedding party down to the beach for a little photo shoot before sunset. Here are a few shots that we captured.

Laguna Beach Engagement | Greg+Mary=Engaged

As I promised, more photos from Greg and Mary’s fashion style engagement session that was shot in downtown Laguna Beach. This was a unique shoot as we mixed the celebration of their engagement with a little fashion shoot. I couldn’t help myself as I got so excited when Mary started showing me their outfits. We had so much fun and found some great spots for these two to strut their stuff. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED working with them both. I may have mentioned this in their sneak-peek post, but I had to ask them if either one of them ever did any modeling for photo shoots because they both were rockin’ it! The two never did do any modeling, but their look and love made such a great combo for this engagement shoot.
