Hello all…

Hope this message finds you all well during these crazy times. I have been doing photography for over 20 years now and it was sad to see business slow, weddings and events postponed and even cancelled due to the Coronavirus. I know it’s a little tough for the small business now, but as we slowly get back up and running it may be a good time to go back to the basics. From the moment we started Sipper Photography back in 2008, it was important to us to incorporate branding into our company with our style, color scheme and logo. Our logo, branding photos, business card and website have made us stand out in our industry and be recognized. This is something that is especially important in times like this. As we make our way back to shooting and servicing our clients at Sipper Photography we want to always present them with a great product in the photography work and how we give our clients the final product. In this digital age of photography, we do offer our clients their digital files from any product or portrait session. At this point in time, we offer a digital download or a USB of images to share the images. Recently, we came across USB Memory Direct for some new USB drives. The great thing about them is that I got to customize a drive in color and type to match our business branding at Sipper Photography. I went with a classic style drive, because we are all about a “Simple and Modern” look. Much like our photos and tagline we work our art form in a “Simple + Modern + Casual” style. At USB Memory Direct we designed just that.

The DE Custom Flash Drive has a simple clean design that we customized the color to match the red, black and white color scheme we have in our logo. They look amazing and I can’t wait to share them with some of our clients.

If you want something fancier, they have it. It looks like they can customize shapes of your USB as well as the color, so check them out! Remember your branding is the face of your business. Always put your best face forward! Hopefully, USB Memory Direct can help!

Country Theme Wedding at The Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach | Kevin + Shannon

You are going to love this country style wedding theme that we shot with An All Inclusive Event at The Red Horse Barn. I just love the flowers, they are by floral designer Melia Carlson in Laguna Beach. With pops of yellow sunflowers and red accents this wedding photographs so beautifully.

I fell in love with Kevin and Shannon and their story from my first meeting with them. We ended up having an impromptu breakfast for our photography consult at The Broken Yolk in Orange. I actually love meeting like this because over bacon and eggs, I found out this couple knew each other since High School. The two were reunited at a recent reunion and Shannon said she didn’t go out with him right away. I giggled…cause look at them now. Such a beautiful couple, who found love a little later in life, but a beautiful love none the less. I am so happy we all connected and we got to photograph their wedding.

As you scroll through the photos, you will see one of our favorite parts which was their officiant. All dressed to impress in the trench coat, cowboy hat and Wanted ads which fit the look for this country theme ceremony for our couple. At one point during the ceremony he took out a flask and took a drink to congratulate the couple. The crowd all laughed and Kevin and Shannon said their I do’s.

Styled Wedding Shoot at The Anaheim Hotel

Recently, Sipper Photography partnered with The Anaheim Hotel and several other talented vendors in the wedding industry to create a wedding styled shoot. From the first time I walked into the lobby at The Anaheim Hotel, my creative juices were flowing with all of the ideas to shoot weddings at the venue. The Anaheim Hotel is located just across the street from the Disneyland Resort and offers a beautiful property for your next wedding or event. There are several locations at the venue to have your events, including the newly renovated Cabana Room and Riviera Ballroom. One of my favorites is the outdoor Veranda which makes the perfect spot for your wedding ceremony or outdoor party.
Since the hotel has a mid-century modern theme to its decor, we took that and incorporated it into our shoot. We used the bold colors of Turquoise, Yellow and Orange with touches of Gray to create some beautiful tablescapes and scenes for our wedding couple. We worked with a talented group of ladies and two gorgeous models who you can tell are a couple in real life. I mean, just look at that chemistry.

All of the wedding details were headed by Marissa Sanchez, event planner at The Modern Party. It was a fantastic modern wedding scene created at The Anaheim Hotel. Thank you to all, what an amazing collaboration of wedding professionals.

Smog City Brewing Co. Engagement Session | Ryan + Erin

Smog City Brewing Co. is a craft brewing company in Torrance, California. This Los Angeles Brewery was kind enough to host us for the engagement shoot we did with Ryan and Erin. I always tell my couples to make your engagement session about you and your relationship. Sometimes couples will choose a theme. Others just want to do nice portraits to document their love and engagement at a park, the beach or other location of choice. For this couple, they wanted to incorporate their love for craft beer and the brewing process. So what better place to shoot then a brewery where all of this magic happens. Ryan, the groom to be has been brewing his own beer for about 10 years now. Since becoming a couple, Erin and Ryan brew together and will be blending a special brew to celebrate with at their wedding in October.

I loved shooting this session. The industrial location makes for a fun background for photos and it really fit for Ryan and Erin’s personalities. Thank you, to Smog City for allowing us to document this couple in your world of craft beer. The beer was great, the couple was fabulous and the photos are spectacular. A big congratulations to Ryan and Erin on your engagement. We can’t wait to shoot with you guys for your wedding.

Outdoor wedding at The Red Horse Barn Huntington Beach | Bryan + Stephanie

Today we are excited to share the outdoor wedding of Bryan and Stephanie. This destination couple came from Chicago to have an outdoor wedding in Southern California. They loved the Huntington Beach area on a previous visit, so they chose to have their wedding with An All Inclusive Event at The Red Horse Barn. It worked out great because An All Inclusive Event was able to help the couple plan and execute all of their wedding details from afar and make this destination wedding happen with their inclusion packages.

It was a beautiful evening for Bryan and Stephanie filled with some amazing memories from the day. We couldn’t be happier for these two and enjoyed working with them so much!!!

Happy Valentine’s Day from Sipper Photography!

On this day I would like to reflect on my own LOVES. My husband, Jeff is the love of my life. We created a beautiful family together and now have our son, Hudson. I am so thankful to have this man in my life.
Our passion for photography is never ending. Jeff and I have been working in the photography industry for 20 plus years now. I love working with my husband and we are so proud of the business we created together at Sipper Photography.
This week is a celebration of LOVE and I absolutely LOVE what I do as a photographer. Over the years, we have captured so many engagements, weddings, anniversaries and families in Orange County as well as all across the country. All of the LOVE we have documented makes me feel happy and blessed. We thank you all for letting us into your life to document your memories.
