Pixie’s Petals | Orange County Wedding Floral Design

Recently, we had the pleasure of doing a portrait session with Leslie of Pixie’s Petals.  Pixie’s Petals specializes in floral design for Weddings & Events in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas.  This florist does some great work, so please stop by and check her out when you are looking for the flowers for your next event!

Leslie is so great to work with.  She has a fun personality and is very easy-going!  I just loved doing the shoot with her and collaborating our art forms with each other.  She included a fabulous bouquet in her photos, to show her brand of being a florist.  It was gorgeous!  The flowers included: Roses, Gladiolas, Succulents and Ti Leaves.

Irvine Family Portrait for Cocktails for the Cure

We met Jasvina through our mutual friend, Kendall as they are the co-founders of the annual Cocktails for the Cure event.  This is a great event that is held each year to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  Next Friday, October 8th will be the 4th Annual Cocktails for the Cure event and Sipper Photography will be shooting photos this year.  We have donated a portrait session each year for their silent auction to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Research and will have another one to bid on this year. You may remember our post about Diane and her family, who was our 2008 portrait winner.  This has been a great organization to be a part.  We are very lucky to be able to give back through something we love to do, which is our photography.  We are so looking forward to the event this year!

Today we have our 2009 portrait winner, Jasvina and her family to share.  The family is dressed in their beautiful traditional Indian style dress, which was the suggestion of her two sons.  Nice job guys!  We hope that you will check out this great cause…enjoy the photos!

If you would like to participate in the Cocktails for the Cure event specifically, you can contact Kendall or Jasvina.

A Day in the Life of an Event Planner | Glamour Magazine Shoot

Sipper Photography has some exciting news to share.  Recently we were asked to shoot photos for a story “A Day In The Life of an Event Planner” featuring the New Balance Toning Collection for GLAMOUR.   Kimberly Clark, is an Event Producer of drezrehersal Event Planning & Lifestyle Co as well as the Glamour Magazine Glambassador for the Los Angeles area.  The story has been featured online at GLAMOUR with the photography provided by us.  This is such great exposure for us and we would love it if you would go check it out at GLAMOUR.  Our photos are featured in the story featured for Kimberly C.  She is the one circled in red below.  To view story & photos Click Here!

As an event planner you are visiting venue locations and handling all of the details for your clients.  So, what better way to get the job done than in comfortable shoes such as the New Balance TrueBalance Toning Collection!  For the shoot we visited the Designed Floral Art Studio, The Big Sugar Bakery and  R’ Mine Bridal.  Here are some other photos from the shoot that weren’t featured, but still great shots of Kimberly in her New Balance Toning shoes.

Ryan+Alex=Engaged | Orange County Wedding Photographer

We are so excited to share with you a few moments from Ryan and Alex’s engagement session.  It was a gorgeous day at the beach with this fabulous couple, where we documented tons of fun & loving moments between the two.   Ryan and Alex were a great couple to work with because they let themselves relax and just had fun being together.  Ryan had an awesome sense of humor which made us all laugh, but most of all put a beautiful smile on Alex’s face.  These two are so cute!

A big congratulations goes out to Ryan+Alex on their engagement.  Thanks for sharing your celebration with us!  Cheers to you both, J+D

Ryan is checking out his bride-to-be!

This was our favorite shot of the day…LOVE IT!

My Niece Emmi | Pleasanton Park Children’s Portrait

I can’t believe how time flies, my niece Emmi is already 18 months old. She is just the cutest little thing, I love her dearly.  On my recent visit to Pleasanton I got to spend some time with Miss Em and meet a friend’s new baby, Addyson.  Addyson’s photos are due here at the blog very shortly, so stay tuned.  In the meantime, you all get to share our trip to park.  Me and Emmi like to call it our Gap Kids shoot in the park.  As she is modeling the cute pink long sleeve tee her Auntie Bah Bah got her from Baby Gap.  I love that store!  Here is Emmi styling in the park and playing too!

I love this one…she has her serious model face on! Strike a pose girl!

Looking at the pretty flowers and they match my shirt!

Another favorite of Emmi coming down the slide.  She knew just how far to climb up before it got to steep for her, then she turned around and slid down.  Loving the static cling hair on this one girl!
