I really can’t believe how fast the summer went by this year.  When did it become October already?  We have had a busy few months with traveling, starting with our trip to Pennsylvania this summer to shoot my friend Melissa’s wedding.  We have been friends since high school and it was such a honor to make it back this year for her wedding and do her photography.  On that trip we also got to go to New York City.  The visit was short but sweet to Manhattan, but somehow got to see quite a few things.  I thank Jeff’s mad tour guide skills with the help of Google maps!  We hope to go back again soon for a longer period of time because there is just so much to see in the big city.

Our travels continued in August when we went to Las Vegas to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary!  We were so excited to share this wonderful milestone in our life together.  We had a great dinner at Emeril’s Fish House Restaurant in the MGM Hotel followed by the Blue Man Group show.  Ironically, at the Blue Man Group  a couple got engaged in the row right in front us before the show.  It was definitely a weekend for love!

Recently, we returned to one of our favorite spots which is New Orleans.  We spent almost a week there relaxing, listening to music and having great food!  Since our return this week we have been playing some catching up.  We have been so busy in between our travels, but are enjoying all that we do.

So, I share with you our dear friends wedding Melissa and Damien, it was a great trip back east to share in this fabulous celebration.  It was so nice to visit my home town and see old friends.  So, without further  a do…congratulations to Melissa and Damien.  Thanks for having us share this special day with you!

Cheers+Love,
J+D

We loved shooting at Spring Creek Park in State College.  This old covered bridge was so cool and something totally different then what we shoot at our Orange County Weddings

Such a fun photo of our Groom, Damien looking out one of the window openings in the covered bridge!

Love this one in the open field with the mountain and trees in the background! I miss all of the green landscape in Pennsylvania and the change of seasons.  One thing I don’t miss is all of the snow!
