Today we are sharing the beautiful wedding of Connor and Jacey. We had so much fun doing their Donut Shop Engagement Session and couldn’t wait to shoot the big day. The couple had their wedding ceremony at their family church, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Huntington Beach. It was the same church the groom’s parents were married at years ago.
The wedding reception followed at The Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach, California. We are so excited to share all of their fun loving wedding memories.

Sweet O Donuts Shop Engagement Session | Connor + Jacey

We are sharing today, Connor and Jacey’s engagement session at the Sweet O Donuts Shop in Huntington Beach. When we talked about ideas for engagement sessions, the couple mentioned about always going on dates to the donut shop. Jacey lit up when we talked about the possibility of shooting the session there. I loved the idea and couldn’t wait to shoot it! The ideas came rushing through what we wanted to do before we even got there. Sometimes some of the best photos come from a simple idea with a cute couple in love.

Thank you to the owners at Sweet O Donuts for letting us photograph this sweet engagement session at your shop. Also, for surprising the couple with the donuts shaped in the phrase “Marry Me”! That made such a great photo op. This session was so much fun and I loved working with all of you. Connor and Jacey are such a fun loving couple and we can’t wait to shoot their wedding in June. Muldoon’s Irish Pub Newport Beach Wedding | Wayne + Genie

Eat, Drink and be Married!
Cheers to our featured couple today, Wayne and Genie. We had such a great day photographing the love story of these two. I started off with our bride Genie, with some pre-ceremony shots at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach where she got ready with her daughters and granddaughter. When the girls were all ready, the best of Orlando limos picked them up and off they went to Harbor Christian Church for the wedding ceremony. Afterwards, their wedding reception followed at Muldoon’s Irish Pub in Newport Beach where the couple celebrated pub style with family, friends, food, drinks and dancing. We had a fantastic time with this couple and it was a true pleasure to document their wedding day. I have to admit, we ended the night with a celebratory cocktail in honor of the couple. My husband, Jeff was in fine Irish style as he toasted a Guiness beer to our new friends and a gin and tonic for me. Cheers to that!

The French Estate Wedding Photography in Orange, CA | Alex + Nicole

Today we are sharing the beautiful wedding of Alex and Nicole at The French Estate in Orange, California. We Love this venue! The French Estate home has a beautiful front yard garden area for your wedding ceremony as well as a backyard area for your reception. It is such a hidden gem right here in our local city of Orange.

This couple had some fantastic moments including a first look for the bride with her father and older brother’s. Then a few words with her husband to be, right before the ceremony, which made for such a romantic moment. Another grand moment was their sparkler send off along the driveway. Have I ever mentioned that I LOVE what we do as wedding photographers. We hope you enjoy the moments!

Christmas Tree Farm Holiday Family Portrait

Happy Holidays to you and yours. It’s that time of the year when we are sharing such wonderful family moments with our clients during our Holiday Family Portrait season. Some of our families shoot with me every year so that they can put together a holiday card of photos. Others shoot just to have a nice family portrait as their children are growing up and changing year to year. It’s amazing to me to have watched some children grow up through my camera lens. I love being a part of their lives and documenting each moment.

Today I wanted to feature the wonderful Rebecca Calagna and her family. Rebecca is a Wedding & Event Planner here in the Orange County area. I have had the pleasure of shooting with Rebecca and her family for several years in a row now. She is a pleasure to work with both personally and professionally. Hotel Irvine Bridal Show

Sipper Photography attended such a fabulous Bridal Show event this past weekend that was hosted by Hotel Irvine. All of the vendors did a great job showing off their services to potential brides. For this feature we thought we would share some of the favorite things we saw for any of you still planning your weddings. Today we are featuring some moments from David and Helen’s wedding at Heritage Park in Oceanside, California. This is such a cute little wedding venue to have an outdoor lawn ceremony or reception event. You can get married right at the gazebo and take plenty of wedding photos in the surrounding village area. We just loved this couple, David and Helen had such fun personalities. I love the shot where David lifted up his bride as they exited the ceremony. We just photographed Chris and Maryalice’s wedding at the Red Horse Barn and were so impressed by all of the decor details that we wanted to feature them in a separate blog. Red Horse Barn Wedding | Chris + Maryalice

Congrats to our featured couple today, Chris and Maryalice, on their recent wedding. It was a beautiful day for a June wedding at The Red Horse Barn in Huntington Beach. We love this venue as it makes for such a romantic setting for your special day. It was such a pleasure working with Chris and Mara (a.k.a Maryalice) as they have some cute love stories. The two met on a blind date that was set up by the groom’s sister, Megan. After the date, the two began to follow each other on Instagram and the rest they say is history. These two are quite the sports fans, during the ceremony the officiant mentioned that Mara was a keeper when she agreed to season tickets for the Anaheim Ducks. Chris was overjoyed!! They also shared with us that they got engaged during an Angels Baseball game. How awesome is that?
The day was perfect thanks to all of the details and coordination of An All Inclusive Event and Robyn’s Event Planning. In fact, we were so amazed by all of their hard work and fabulous wedding details that we will be featuring them in a separate blog to follow this post. Hotel Irvine Summer Solstice Event

We are so excited to have photographed this fabulous Orange County Event venue at Hotel Irvine this weekend. It’s such a great spot to host just about any social or corporate event. For those of you planning a 2016 holiday party or your wedding this next year… you must check this venue out. Newly refurbished is The Backyard which is a gorgeous lawn area for your outdoor party or ceremony. For your reception or indoor events they offer several spaces for the most intimate event to the grandest occasion at The Pavilion or The Grand Ballroom. The Pavilion which is featured below gives you the white tented look and sits right next to The Backyard lawn area. With the modern look and decor of this venue, there are so many great spots for your photo ops. One of our favorites is the lobby front desk area…the design is absolutely gorgeous. With an exceptional staff, chef and catering department, your event will be incredible. You can see photos here of all the amazing food we had including passed appetizers, a Mediterranean Cheese & Humus bar, and the Yellow Tail and Poke Stations. It was such a fun evening. We love, love, love this place!
